Blood Supply Dangerously Low

An agency that ensures there is blood for surgeries and other procedures across West Tennessee has issued a critical appeal for donors. Officials with Lifeline Blood Services said the blood supply has fallen to dangerously low levels and all types of blood are needed. Due to an increase in use across the region, the blood center has less than one day supply. All eligible donors are asked to make an effort to donate this week. Lifeline Blood Services is located at 828 North Parkway and will be open extended hours for the rest of this week. The hours are from 8 am until 7 pm through Friday.
