DRC Transitioning to SBA Loan Outreach Center

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Madison County closed down as of Thursday. although not completely. It is actually transitioning into a Disaster Loan Outreach Center for the Small Business Administration. The center is located inside the Jackson Center for Independent Living on Hollywood Drive. The loan program allows homeowners to borrow up to $200,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate. Renters and homeowners alike could also be eligible to receive as much as $40,000 for personal property damage. The center is open through Thursday, July 14 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., except for Saturday and Sunday, when the center will be closed.
