Manning Charged in Stratford Lane Drug Bust
A Jackson man is facing a number of drug charges after narcotics officers reported finding a cache of drugs, weapons and cash inside his north Jackson home. Woo Winiski Terrell Manning appeared in Jackson City Court, Tuesday, in connection with items seized from his home on Stratford Lane on July 1. Manning was charged with counts of possession of marijuana with intent, possession of a firearm during the commission to commit a dangerous felony, possession of schedule IV with intent, possession of a legend drug with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule II with intent, possession of schedule III with intent. Investigators reported seizing 37 pounds of marijuana, hundreds of prescription pills, $46,000 in cash, and other items inside and outside the home he shared with another man. Officers were originally called to their home to investigate a shooting. The victim, Manning’s house mate, told officers a man kicked in his door and started shooting. He was hit, but is recovering from his injuries. Shortly after his arraignment, Manning posted a $75,000 bond.
