Owensboro Records Record Bust
Police in western Kentucky say three people were charged after authorities seized 3 lbs. of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of up to $130,000 in Owensboro, the largest amount of meth found in the city’s history.
Owensboro police charged three people with trafficking in a controlled substance Tuesday after a tip from the post office led investigators to a house where a suspicious package was to be delivered. Police found 1 pound of crystal methamphetamine inside the package.
Sgt. Jeff Roby told the Messenger-Inquirer that a check showed similar packages had been delivered to a different address, and a check of that address resulted in the seizure of 2 more pounds of crystal meth.
