Washington Street Closure this Weekend

Drivers may have some problems navigating one Jackson street this weekend. The Jackson engineering department advised motorists to avoid Washington Street at the railroad crossing near downtown Jackson. West Tennessee Railroad and Railworks will be making improvements to the crossing from 7 a.m., Saturday until 6 p.m., Sunday. Two lanes of Washington Street will be shut down during the work.
