KY Schools Make National List
Eastern Kentucky University and Somerset Community College have made the list of top colleges to work for in a survey by The Chronicle of Higher Education.
Eastern is among 10 large four-year colleges and universities and Somerset Community College is among four medium-size two-year colleges to make the list this year.
A total of 111 colleges were recognized in the report, announced in a special supplement of The Chronicle. Kentucky schools making that list are Hazard Community College, Murray State and Transylvania University.
Among the categories surveyed were compensation and benefits, job satisfaction, confidence in senior leadership, and facilities, workplace and security.
