Two Charged in Humboldt Burglary

Humboldt police said it was the help of their fellow officers that helped nab a suspected safecracking father/son duo and the property they are accused of stealing. David Michael Dycus, 24, and his father, David Lee Dycus, whose photo was not available, both of Milan are charged with aggravated burglary and felony theft. Officers said the pair broke into a home in Humboldt and took an undisclosed amount of money and documents from the homeowner’s safe. Dycus was arrested in Lavergne in Rutherford County. His father was arrested by authorities in Greeneville, Mississippi. Both will be arraigned in Humboldt, pending their return. Tiptonville officers and Obion County deputies also assisted in the investigation.
