Concert, Festival to Block Downtown Streets

If you are heading to downtown Jackson late Friday afternoon and Saturday, there are a couple of street closures that could affect your drive. Two concerts will block-off portions of two busy downtown streets. The first is Baltimore Street, which will be closed from 5 Friday afternoon to 9 in the evening from Liberty Street to Highland Avenue for the free community concert “Faith and Family Night.” Then Church Street will be closed from Lafayette Street to Main Street beginning at 5, Friday afternoon until Midnight Saturday for the International Rockabilly Music Festival at the downtown museum.
