Lexington Police officers say they need your help finding a man they believe is responsible for stealing a pharmaceutical delivery van, Wednesday morning. The report shows the delivery man left his keys in the van when he was inside a Lexington pharmacy making a drop off. When he came outside the van was gone. Captain Jeff Middleton said they recovered the van close by about an hour later. However, around $36,000 worth of supplies had been stolen. Middleton says the contents could range from band-aids to controlled narcotics. Officers said they are looking for a person of interest, who was seen at the local Walmart just before the theft occurred. “There’s just some behaviors that they engaged in as their vehicle was at Walmart prior to being stolen that made us believe that there may be some involvement in some capacity,” said Middleton. The suspect is described as a white male around 5 feet 5 inches tall with facial hair. He is believed to be driving a white19’99 – 2004 GMC Yukon LX.
