Police Investigate Serial Killer Claims
Police in Tulsa are investigating the claim made by a man in jail in Mississippi of killing a woman in Tulsa earlier this month.
Sgt. Dave Walker told the Tulsa World that the claim by Charles Timothy Krauss of Knoxville, Tenn., has enough verifiable information to lead police to investigate. Walker said that – so far – no body has been found in the area where Krauss claims to have killed the woman he knew only as “Nikki.”
Krauss was arrested Aug. 6 in Pearl, Miss., for possession of a stolen car. He then told authorities that he had killed the woman in Tulsa on Aug. 2 and another woman in Knoxville, Tenn.
Walker said police in Tulsa, Pearl and Knoxville are trying to verify Krauss’ claims.
