Man Dies in Benton Co. Wreck
A two car collision claimed the life of a man from Holladay, early Thursday morning. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Michael Peek, 30, died in the head-on collision just before 8:00 a.m. The wreck happened on Coxburg Road in Benton County. Investigators believe Peek was in them middle of the road while taking a curve when the wreck happened. The driver of the other vehicle was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. The THP report shows Peek was not wearing a seat belt.
