Man Charged in Madison Co. Shooting
A Jackson man has been arrested and charged in the early Tuesday morning shooting of a woman in east Madison County. Alvin “A.J.” Waller, Junior, 34, was charged Wednesday with attempted first degree murder. He remains jailed in lieu of $750,000. Waller was taken into custody, Tuesday in connection with the shooting in this area off Highway 70 East. The 32-year-old victim told deputies, she had consensual sex with him in his car before he pulled out a gun and shot her. Waller will make his first court appearance on this charge, Monday.
