Nichols Case Bound Over to Grand Jury

The case of Terry Nichols, 51, will be heard by a grand jury in Obion County, according to court officials. Nichols is charged with two counts of especially aggravated kidnapping, after authorities say he kidnapped seven children ranging from 3-months to 17-years-old. Deputies found all seven children safe in Nichols’ van outside a Union City bank, after a teller told them he was waiting for the bank to open. Nichols told deputies he was at the bank because he needed money from a vacation to the beach. Nichols remains jailed in lieu of $50,000 bond. His case is expected to be heard by the October grand jury.
