City Checking on Neighborhoods of All Sizes

Officials with Jackson’s Neighborhood Services were out again, Tuesday, this time in an east Jackson neighborhood. Neighborhood services was checking for violations of city codes in the area. Everything form up keep of property to building code violations were part of the checks made. Officials said they were checking in a smaller neighborhood. “This is not a means of punishing anyone, but to assist them in getting the property up to code, said Sylvester Bingham with the City of Jackson.
