Theft Suspect Caught in Bartlett

The man suspected of rifling through purses in office buildings throughout Jackson has been arrested in Bartlett, according to Jackson Police. Andrew Hearn, 33, of Memphis faces charges of trespassing, theft, identity theft, forgery and assault. Investigators have not said when Hearn will be returned to Jackson. Last week, officers said he was spotted at three different Jackson businesses going through women’s purses. He is also suspected in a similar crime from March.
