Waller Appears for Preliminary Hearing

Five alleged victims of suspected serial rapist Alvin “A.J.” Waller took stand during his preliminary hearing and testified to the brutality they said they faced at his hand. The 34-year-old was arrested last month in connection with the rapes of two different women, prosecutors said he raped at least seven women. He faced charged of attempted first degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape. Investigators said more charges could be filed. Waller is being held in lieu of $1 million bond. His case will now be heard by a Madison County grand jury.
