Swimmer Missing Off Alabama Coast
A Coast Guard helicopter is searching for a swimmer swept away in rough waters churned by Tropical Storm Lee.
Coast Guard Petty Officer Kyle Urquhart says a group of people swimming got caught in a rip current Sunday night. As many as five people became distressed, including a mother, father, their two teenagers and someone trying to help them.
He says four made it back out of the water, including two who were helped by lifeguards.
He says a Coast Guard helicopter was searching late Sunday night.
