TBI Investigating Double Murder Near Henning

Two Henning men were found dead in a vehicle just outside of a cemetery in Lauderdale County, Sunday afternoon, and investigators are still searching for their killer. The bodies of Johnathan Jones, 32 and Eric Washington, 27 were discovered on Tate Road just outside Henning on Sunday near Bethlehem Cemetery. Investigators will not say exactly how the two men were killed but their bodies have been sent to Memphis for an autopsy to confirm their cause of death. Although agents with the TBI are currently questioning several people, there have been no arrests made and there are not any suspects related to this double murder. “It raises a brow anytime something like that happens. It’s a concern, but you know what can you do,” said neighbor Lawrence Cooper.
