The Jackson man indicted on charges of repeatedly raping the same young boy made his first court appearance, Monday. Roy McCarty, 37, was officially charged with 107 counts of rape of a child. Judge Roger Page set McCarty’s bond at $500,000. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 12. Jackson police said they are still trying to determine if McCarty victimized any other children.
