Cancelled: Endangered Child Alert

Update: Leeann Weaver has been safely located and her father is in custody. The search for a young Hardin County girl, who investigators said has been taken by her father and could be in danger. An Endangered Child Alert was issued, Tuesday night for Leeann Weaver, 13. Hardin County deputies said she is with her father, Lee Weaver, 61, who assaulted Leeann’s mother before taking off, Tuesday. Leeann Weaver is Native American, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 119 pounds, has braces and was last wearing an orange UT T-shirt and blue jeans. Lee Weaver is Native American, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 250 pounds. He was armed with a baseball bat and possibly en route to McIntosh, Alabama or the Indian Reservation in Atmore, Alabama. He was last seen driving a newer model, gold Chevrolet Malibu with Ohio license plates.
