Westwood Program Receives Grant
For a 10th year, one west Jackson after school program has received grant money toward providing healthy alternatives to the children it serves. Westwood’s after school study-time program, held at the Westwood Recreation Center has received a grant from the Tennessee Department of Human Services. The funds allow leaders to buy nutritious snacks for youth enrolled in the programs, which provided quality, well-grounded programming for community leaders.
