Brownsville Man Indicted In Two Separate Cases
19 year old Lakendrick DeBerry of Brownsville faces a five count indictment in connection with two shootings earlier this summer. DeBerry faces a first degree murder and an attempted first degree murder charge in connection with an August shooting which left a Brownsville man dead and his son seriously injured. In the second case DeBerry and an unidentified juvenile both face attempted second degree murder charges and a weapons count following a June shooting on Houston Street.
