Liberty St. to be Closed Tuesday Afternoon

Traffic in downtown Jackson could be a bit more congested that usual during rush hour, Tuesday. The section of Liberty Street between Lafayette and Main Streets will be closed from 4:00 -5:30 p.m. for a rally by U.S. Postal workers. The dozens of workers tell us they will rally outside Congressman Stephen Fincher’s office in hopes of saving their jobs. Both lanes of Liberty St. will be shut down during this time.
