Driver Rescued on North Parkway

A violent crash at the intersection of North Parkway and Russell Road sent two people to the hospital and tied up traffic for quite some time, Friday morning. Witnesses said one of the vehicles failed to stop at the light causing the collision that ended with an SUV on its side. Officers said neither of the victims appeared to be seriously hurt. “I was sitting in my car in my front yard when I heard a big noise,” said Milton Perry. “When I looked around I saw this SUV going up in the air, falling on its side. And that’s when everybody ran out to see what was going on.” The investigation into the crash continues.
