West Middle Teachers Receive Walmart Gift Cards

West Middle educators and students got a little boost for their education efforts, Thursday. Ten lucky teachers won a $100 gift car from Walmart to help pay for classroom supplies. The give away is part of Walmart’s teacher rewards program. More than 30 West Middle School teachers qualified to participate in the event and entered the drawing. “It always makes you feel good when somebody acknowledges the work that you do,” said Amy Davis, a 7th grade teacher.” “Often times as educators, we don’t get that often.” Teachers say the extra money helps to offset out of pocket expenses.
