26 Arrested In Drug Investigation
Dozens of West Tennessee residents have been arrested in a drug investigation, according to the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit. Investigators said most of the 26 suspects had drugs, or intended to sell them. Authorities said they worked with local pharmacies to target the people buying pseudoephedrine products to manufacture methamphetamine. Fourteen were arrested for manufacturing meth, or intending to manufacture it. The others were arrested for drug possession, public intoxication, drug paraphernalia, or for driving-related charges. Investigators were also able to seize two meth labs in Carroll County.
