Suspect Named in Glass Street Shooting

Jackson police said they know who shot a man in the back along Glass Street in east Jackson, last week. Quintez Brown, 20, is wanted on a charge of especially aggravated robbery. He is one of two men accused of robbing and shooting a 21-year-old man, last Tuesday night. Police believe Brown was the man who pulled the trigger, striking the victim, once in the back. The victim told police the two men confronted him after he pulled over due to car trouble. Brown is 6 feet tall, 155 pounds. and once lived along Old Hickory Boulevard. He is also wanted by Madison County after testing positive for drugs, which is a violation of his probation.
