Man Charged in Crockett Co. Murder

Crockett County investigators said they have arrested the man who shot and killed an 89-year-old woman inside her Maury City home back on August. Dustin Michael Cathey, 24, of Friendship has been charged with first degree murder in the death of Lila Lilley. He faces additional charges of aggravated burglary, theft and vandalism. Investigators have not said what led them to develop Cathey as a suspect. Lilley was found dead inside her home on August 5. Cathey will make his first court appearance, Thursday.
