Paris Police: Couple Involved in Trooper Shooting Robbed Salon
The couple involved in last Wednesday’s deadly shooting involving Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Dwayne Stanford are suspected of more than trying to kill the trooper. Paris police believe the two also robbed a salon in their city. Investigators in Paris have filed charges against Christie Pepper in the August 30 armed robbery of Salon Effects. They believe she and her boyfriend Robert Cunningham, Junior are responsible for the crime. Cunningham died in the gun battle with Trooper Stanford. Pepper remains jailed on a weapons charge in Henderson County.
