Bond Found Guilty of Attempted Rape

On Tuesday, a Madison County jury convicted Reginald Bond, 21, of attempted rape of a child. Bond was originally charged with rape of a 9-year-old, who was the child of a family friend. However, the jury found him guilty of the lesser charge, which is a class B felony. He will be sentenced on November 21 and could face up to 12 years in prison.
