Savannah Man Killed in Crash
A Savannah man has died from injuries suffered in a morning crash in middle Tennessee. According to Metro Nashville police, Alva Flint, 77, an employee of Harbert Hills Academy in Savannah died in the multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 near Briley Parkway in Nashville. His passenger, a Japanese exchange student who Flint had just picked up form the airport, was treated for non-critical injuries at Vanderbilt Hospital. Flint’s vehicle was hit from behind as it slowed due to an earlier crash. The wreck remains under investigation.
