Safety officials are reminding drivers that with schools back in session, you need to watch for school buses. Officials from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Jackson District said that is National School Bus Safety Week. The week-long campaign celebrates the safe service school buses provide children and their families. Safety leaders remind you that transportation is a shared responsibility between schools, bus drivers, parents, students and motorists in West Tennessee. The THP reminds you that illegal passing of buses is a major problem that officers continually are on the lookout for those types of violations.
