Police: Man Jumped from New Southern

Police and emergency responders are investigating the death of a man who jumped to his death from a downtown Jackson building. It happened Tuesday morning at the New Southern building. Police said a 69 year old man, a resident apparently jumped from a hallway window on the 8th floor on the south side of the building. Investigators said he left a note but would not reveal the details. Most of the building is used for apartments.
