One Arrested after Gang Related Fights at North Side HS

The Madison County Sheriff’s Department is investigating multiple fights on the campus of North Side High School which are believed to be gang related. According to Sheriff David Woolfork, this morning at around 7:00 a.m., the School Resource Officer at the high school reported multiple fights on campus. According to investigators, the fights reportedly were between two gangs, one calling themselves DIP, which are reportedly associated with the Vice-Lords; the second calling themselves FBD, which are reportedly associated with the Gangster Disciples. The dispute reportedly began yesterday off campus. The sheriff reports that several students were suspended as a result of the fighting. One 14-year-old male was transported to Juvenile Detention and is charged with Disturbing a School Assembly, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. According to a news release, the two rival gangs are reportedly the same mentioned on YouTube affiliated with Lll Pooka that has been recently discussed in the last few days on talk radio and other media outlets.
