Shearer Arrested in Memphis

Union City police said the gunman and second suspect in the robbery of the Pockets Convenience Store has been arrested in Memphis. Demetris “Pontiac” Shearer, 21, was arrested in Memphis on Sunday and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon. In addition to charges of aggravated robbery, theft and tampering with evidence and one count of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon in connection with last week’s robbery.
