McNairy County hosted their first “Fall Hog Festival” on Saturday. The event was full of food competitions, entertainment, and cars to highlight McNairy Counties first official festival. The food competition’s five categories included cobblers, chili, hot wings, ribs, and barbeque. Emphasizing foods that are popular in this part of the region and the south. “People in the south like to eat, we love to eat, and when you put good music, good food, car shows together; it’s kind of a winning combination,” says Russell Ingle. Ingle says it’s fun to see everyone put a spin on their own kind of barbeque.
