Union City Arson Fire

This video is no longer available.

A week full of what seems like direct attacks against one Union City woman and her son leads up to them losing everything, with just the clothes on their back. Charlotte Turner started off her weekend last Friday with her house getting broken into and burglarized. On Wednesday, her tires got slashed on her blue SUV. Finally, Friday rolled around, she hoped to end the bad week, but stated she and her son left home to visit some family in South Fulton. Less than an hour passed, she got a phone call that her house was on fire. Officials said it was arson. During an investigation Saturday morning, investigators began to find evidence in the trash, which led them to blood. Blood was found on the parked car, a gas can, and on the back shed door. Family members assume the suspect who started the fire cut himself without realizing it; leaving a trail of evidence. Family members also said, the trail of bad things that have happened to Turner in a week is intentional. They believe the same person committed all crimes, but have no idea who would do this, because Turner had no enemies and had very few acquaintances in Union City.
