Fatal Wreck on Beech Bluff Road

Road conditions are believed to have played a part in a deadly Sunday morning crash that claimed the life of a Beech Bluff man. Madison County investigators said just after 12:30, Sunday morning, Nicholas Troy Owens, 19, lost control of his car, ran off the road and slammed into a tree. The crash happened in the 3200 block of Beech Bluff Road. Owen was taken by ambulance to a Jackson hospital but did not survive.
