3 Dead In Rural Kentucky Town

Kentucky State Police have identified three people killed in a morning shooting on a rural road near Interstate 65 in central Kentucky on Tuesday.

Police say the three people were from neighboring Hardin County. Trooper Norman Chaffins identified the shooting victims as 51-year-old David Walker and 51-year-old Barbara Walker, both from Elizabethtown; and 55-year-old Steve L. Bottoms of Radcliff. A fourth person, 32-year-old April M. Roberts of Elizabethtown, was wounded and is being treated at a hospital.

Chaffins says police are still trying to determine what happened.

Police received a call at 11:33 a.m. CST reporting the shooting on Heying Road. The bodies were found near the Hardin-Larue county line near the small town of Sonora.

Chaffins says there is no search under way for a shooter.
