Freeman Surrenders in Connection with Lenny’s Robbery

The worker at Lenny’s Sub Shop wanted in the recent robbery of the restaurant is now in custody. Jackson Police said Jonathan Freeman 20, turned himself in this morning. He is charged with a count of filing a false police report in the armed robbery. Brother and sister Nicolas and Meloney Robinson, who are charged in the heist, appeared in Jackson City Court, Wednesday, for their preliminary hearing. Both cases were sent to the grand jury. Investigators said Freeman was working on November 12 when the restaurant was robbed and gave false and misleading information to investigators.
