Late Night Fire in Downtown Adamsville
A late night fire in Adamsville has destroyed a popular downtown eatery and severely damaged several other area businesses. Just before 11:00pm Monday night, firefighters were called to the SawMeal in downtown Adamsville. Firefighters from Adamsville along with other crews from McNairy and Hardin Counties took about two hours to get the blaze under control. Cell phone video showed flames shooting through the roof of the building as workers tried to put out the flames. 7 Eyewitness News Reporter Joe Sullivan is in Adamsville and will have more details later today.
