Spring Hill School in Running for 25K
A Gibson County school is in the running to win a $25,000 grant, but they need your help. Spring Hill Elementary in Trenton is a finalist in the Pepsi Refresh Project. It is a program sponsored by Pepsi that encourages individuals and schools to submit ideas to improve their communities. The winning project idea will be awarded the grant, which will be used for iPads for the classrooms. “We know that technology is growing in education everyday so we know it’s going to be a supportive tool, a supplemental tool to help us help our students for the county and for the state of Tennessee,” said Joey Harrison, principal of Spring Hill Elementary School. School leaders are asking the public to vote throughout the month of December. To fin out how visit the “Seen on 7” link of www.wbbjtv.com.
