Jackson Man Wanted in Shooting Attempt

A Jackson man is wanted after police said he shot at his step-father, Friday morning. Kenny Pruitt, 29, is wanted on a charge of aggravated assault. Police said the shooting occurred at a house on Carver Avenue in east Jackson. The 45-year0old victim told officers after he and his step-son fought, Pruitt left and returned with a handgun, shooting at him as the victim tried to leave. Pruitt is driving a silver Pontiac Grand Am and will possible be in Humboldt. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds.
