TN Student Injured In Lab Experiment
A high school student has been injured when a science experiment went awry in Jonesborough.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. John Rupe said students were outside the building at David Crockett High School under teacher supervision on Thursday afternoon when an explosion occurred.
Rupe said a male student received serious injuries to one hand, according to The Johnson City Press (http://bit.ly/vor1Nd ). Other students who were nearby received superficial injuries. The more seriously injured student was taken to a hospital for treatment.
It was unclear what the experiment involved and the name of the injured student wasn’t released.
