West Tennessee Filipino American Association Host Christmas Party

The West Tennessee Filipino American Association hosted its annual Christmas Party at the Star Center in Jackson Saturday night. More than 250 people came out to party. The organization served traditional Filipino food like BBQ pork, rice, and ham. Organizers said it’s a time to bring the Filipino community of West Tennessee together all while educating others about their culture. “We are trying to tell the community that we exists, that we Filipinos are here,” said Mibzie Williams. The organization started back in 1998.
