Abuse Suspected In Child’s death
Police are investigating a possible abuse case after a 4-year-old Chattanooga boy died and a 3-year-old boy was placed in intensive care.
Chattanooga police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary said the two boys were taken to a local emergency room, where the 4-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival, according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
Investigators said the cause of death is unknown, but preliminary findings show the two boys suffered abuse.
Police were questioning the boys’ mother and her boyfriend.
