Teacher Charged with Statutory Rape

A Huntingdon High School teacher is charged with Statutory Rape by an authority figure. According to the Huntingdon Police Department, Daniel Clarke Doyle, 23, was arrested on the charge Friday. He was released on $5,000 bond and appeared in Carroll County General Sessions Court, Wednesday. According to Huntingdon High School’s website, Doyle is a Spanish teacher and assistant boys basketball coach. He started working at the school in August. School officials were not available for comment.
