A local city councilman helped to spread the Christmas cheer Sunday. City Councilman Johnny Dodd sponsored a Christmas Luncheon at Mount Moriah Baptist Church Sunday afternoon. The dinner was open to the public, especially for the homeless and elderly. This is the fourth year Dodd has hosted the free Christmas dinner.
