Clerk Pistol Whipped in Convenience Store Robbery

A North Jackson convenience store clerk was hit in the face and robbed by two suspects at the T-Mart Tobacco store on North Highland just before midnight Tuesday. The victim told investigators that two armed black males who were wearing masks forced him to the back of the store and demanded money. After taking an undetermined amount of cash, the men pistol whipped the worker in the face, and left on foot. The suspect who hit the employee is around 5 feet 11 to 6 feet tall with a slim build. The other suspect, also has a slim build, and is about 5 feet 8. They may be driving a gray or gold vehicle.
