Report Released in Buchanan Crash

More details are released about the minutes right before Jackson City Councilman Harvey Buchanan crashed into a utility pole, Tuesday morning. The Jackson Police Department report released Thursday shows witnesses saw the councilman slumped over the wheel right before the crash at North Highland and Old Hickory. Another witness said Buchanan never tried to brake before slamming head-on into the pole. 7 Eyewitness News spoke with Buchanan’s wife early Thursday, who told us Buchanan remains in stable condition and is in good spirits.
